A Gibson electric, introduced 1958[1, 2], made until 1960. Built on the Gibson USA line.
Cherry Sunburst Standard introduced 1958; 'produced between 1958 and 1960' per Gibson Gazette (S337), which gives 1960 by implication. Guitar World (S340) says single-cut production ceased as the new double-cut style shipped toward the end of 1960; Wikipedia says original production lasted to early 1961 (community, not recorded). Stalemate on 1960 vs early 1961; kept 1960. Model name was reissued from 1968, not recorded here.
